The City of Manchester is an active place that is growing and expanding its horizons. The City has many specialty shops for antiques, unique dress, jewelry, automotive, and department stores. There are 5 interstate exits to the City that allow places of worship. Exits 110 and 114 have warm and friendly motels with reasonable rates. The Recreation Center provides space for sports tournaments, greenways to walk, and parks to play. The Art Center has scheduled plays and there are many places for music venues, one being the Bonnaroo Arts and Music Festival taking place in the summer. There are restaurants with special cuisines, country cooking, and ethnic foods. The City School System has been recognized under the SCORE program as well as other special achievements from the State of Tennessee. I welcome you to the City of Manchester to shop, eat, and stay a while.
