If vet documentation of vaccination is not received within 7 days of adoption date, the dog must be relinquished to the Manchester Animal Control Officer on duty. No refunds of adoption fee. New owner must pay a deposit of $25 plus a $10 adoption fee and agree to have the dog spayed/neutered within 30 days of the date of adoption if sexually mature, or within 30 days of sexual maturity. When proof of pay/neuter is presented to the Manchester Animal Shelter, the owner may request the $25 deposit be refunded to them within 10 days of the spaying/neutering. If not requested within this time frame, fee will be forfeited.

Yes. The Municipal City Clerk’s office accepts credit card payments. You may pay by credit card either in person, telephone, or online. If paid in person or from telephone call directly to police department, a processing fee of 4.0% is charged to the cardholder. If paid online or by phone automation (1-866-301-6676), a processing fee of 4.0% plus a vendor handling fee of $2.50 to $3.50 is charged to the cardholder.
